Velo Vino Opens

Velo Vino is a place where everyone with any interest in cycling will enjoy visiting when cycling up valley. The interior is beautifully finished and you are made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. It definitely creates a new category of retail; their Facebook page describes it thusly: 'where the passions of cycling and wine are celebrated and blended.' And that is an apt description.
It is part coffee shop, part wine tasting room (featuring Clif Family wines), and part brand store with the latest Clif Bar flavors and Clif cycling kit. Be sure to say hi to John DeGregory; he's the hospitality manager and he definitely lives up to his title.Check it out on the west side of Highway 29 at Vidovich, in St. Helena. It's in a brightly colored, freshly updated cottage . . . you won't miss it!
