Safe Routes to School is an international movement to make walking and biking safer for kids.
The Program
We believe that every child should be able to walk or bike to school safely. In partnership with the Napa County Office of Education, our Safe Routes to School program provides classroom and on-bike safety education for elementary school students, encouragement programs, and works to identify and remove barrirs to safe walking and biking.
Our Work
We are working with all 38 public schools in Napa County to identify barriers to safe walking and biking, and to develop community reports and action plans to eliminate those barriers.
Get Involved
The Safe Routes to School program is only successful with strong participation and buy-in from our local community, including students, parents, teachers, school administration, and our local cities and towns.
