Join the Napa County Bicycle Coalition and St. Helena Parks and Recreation for a fun morning of riding bikes!
Led by nationally certified bicycle instructors, our free Family Biking Workshops provide kids (and their parents) with the skills and confidence necessary to ride safely around town and with traffic.
Prior to jumping on the bikes, we’ll go over our A-B-C quick-check to make sure our bikes are ready to ride, fit our helmets, then transition to on-bike skill building activities designed to encourage confidence and safety. We’ll wrap things up with a series of bike-themed games and a group ride along local streets to practice our skills in a real-world setting.
This event takes place at the Jacob Meily Park parking lot in St. Helena. Additional details will be sent via email in advance of the workshop. Registration is required, space is limited. All kids MUST bring their own bicycle and helmet. Any parents or guardians riding with the group MUST have a helmet.
To sign up, just fill out our online form!

All participants will receive a temperature check upon arrival, and must practice social distancing of 6’ whenever possible. Cloth masks are required when not actively riding, and hand sanitizer will be available.
