Calling all Vintage High School parents, students, teachers, and staff! We want your input for our Safe Routes to School Walk Audit on January 24th to help identify barriers to safe walking and biking to your school and to brainstorm solutions.
The Napa County Safe Routes to School program, a partnership between the Napa County Office of Education and the Napa County Bicycle Coalition, aims to increase the number of students safely walking and biking to school. During Walk Audits, students, parents, staff, and the Napa County Safe Routes to School team observe traffic flow and behavior during drop-off and/or pick-up periods, identify safety barriers to walking and bicycling, and discuss and prioritize issues and potential solutions.
