We know how it is…
You’re out riding, you see something you know is a danger, BUT… momentum is everything and you don’t want to stop… or you’re with a group… or you’re late for a meeting… or you’re not sure how to report.
That’s why we are designating June 22 – 28
REPORT-A-HAZARD WEEK
throughout Napa County.
We invite you to join us in slowing down and capturing the potholes, gravel, crevices, parked cars, encroaching bushes, traffic lights that won’t change, paint that has disappeared, trash cans, strange objects, etc., that make our bike lanes less safe to ride.
NOT SURE HOW TO REPORT?
Sign-up for our online training.
Join us Wednesday, June 17, from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. We will show you the proper way to report all manner of hazards to all of Napa County’s cities and towns and to Caltrans, too. REGISTER HERE.
To add a bit of fun, we will give away a “Go by Bike” t-shirt and water bottle to one randomly selected person who posts a picture to their Facebook or Instagram account and tags us (@napabike) of a hazard they reported between June 22-28. #hazardreported!
Public works crews often cannot see the hazards we encounter from their work trucks. Let’s help them help us!
