Join the Napa County Bicycle Coalition for a FREE community bike ride on Friday, August 28! This ride highlights shortcuts and secret passages for bicyclists and pedestrians in the City of Napa and will teach safe biking practices for riding on local streets and paths. Youth are welcome with a waiver signed by a parent/guardian – please assess if this ride is appropriate for your child’s biking ability. Join us for tacos at Mother’s Tacos at the end of the ride!
- Where: Ride starts at Fuller Park and ends at Mother’s Tacos, with option to ride back to Fuller Park together if need be.
- When: Meet at 5:45 PM, ride leaves at 6:00 PM.
- Distance: 5.5 miles
- Pace: We will be going at a casual, cruising pace. All riders must be able to keep up with 8-10 mph.
- Terrain: Flat, mostly on-road with some short segments on bicycle/pedestrian paths and bridges
- Route: Route can be viewed at: https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/6761302106/
- All riders must: wear a helmet. We recommend having a white front bike light and red rear reflector (red light recommended) if you plan to stay for tacos after the ride, as the sun may be setting on your ride home. NCBC will provide front lights for riders who need them.
